About This Course
Pedagogic literature advocates for the use of Game-Based Approaches (GBAs) in teaching and coaching. GBAs are learner-centered in which modified games maximize learning, participation, and enjoyment. Attendees will learn the theory behind GBA and how to apply Thorpe, Bunker, and Almond's (1986) game classification system into the physical education curriculum.
